Blog: Some Setbacks By: John Heisz

It’s been a rough month.

My father passed away on the fourth of April – quick and completely unexpected; I don’t believe the full impact of this has sunk in yet. He was a very large influence in what I’ve done with my life, both good and bad – I am the person I am today, thanks in large part to him. From a young age I watched him building things and I wanted to make things too. It’s hard to say if what we are most interested in in later life is a result of some innate attraction or exposure as a child. Whichever it is, I thank him, and I’ll miss him.

Work took up much of my time for the remainder of the month. That, and being sick with a flu that would not go away. It drained me and kept me from doing anything that I didn’t have to do, and slowed me down with the things that I had to get done.

I’m trying to get back on track now with the website and hopefully I’ll have an update ready for this coming Saturday.

Apologies to those that sent me messages that I’ve not answered yet. I’ll be catching up on that too. I just did not have the time or the motivation to do something as simple as an email.

Not to wish my time away, but It’ll be nice to see this month end.
