Router Lift Plans $10.00
Ready to mount in the table of your own design or extension wing of your table saw, this is a simple, easy to build and very smooth acting router lift. Super fine adjustment is possible and the lift has a total vertical range of 3-1/2".
All of the components are commonly available, with no special parts to make. The majority of this lift is constructed from 1/2" (12mm) and 3/4" (18mm) plywood, using standard hardware.

Please note that this lift was designed for the "standard" body router, which has a diameter of 3-1/2". To use a router with a larger body, you will have to make some minor changes, as detailed here.

The crank and locking knob can be any distance from the unit by increasing the rod length.

NOTE: The SketchUp file was optimized for a larger monitor screen size (1280 x 720 and up) and may look a little jumbled on a smaller screen. It is recommended that the SketchUp model is viewed on a monitor with a higher screen resolution.

There are two versions available, for your convenience: An imperial version with all of the dimensions in inches and a metric version, with all dimensions in millimeters, except screw sizes, threaded rod and other hardware. Hardware sizes for both versions are in imperial units.
